Sealex®:
Sealing compounds are aimed primarily at the metal packaging industry,
used to form a metal-polymer-metal interface between the carcass and the
ends of drums, cans and tubes in the form of double or triple seams, gaskets
and crimped folds. The majority of products are based on natural or synthetic rubber latices, or indeed a blend of the two, with end use application usually the determining factor in polymer selection. New product developments utilising PVC plastisols are currently in progress, and the range of standard materials are complimented by tailor-made formulations that meet individual customer requirements.
